Halloween Treats

It’s Halloween and with Jesses Birthday being so close its always a huge celebration for us. Jesse likes all his birthdays to have a Halloween/ scary theme so I’m always looking for easy party foods to add a bit of fun to the buffet!

So here are a few ideas, great to get the kids involved with!

  1. Sugar Free Jelly with Jelly sweetie worms set in it.

  2. Baby bell cheese made into an eyeball (you can get edible pens for this!)

  3. Hot dogs cut into fingers, skin off a little meat for the fingernail and add ketchup for blood!

  4. Marshmallow Ghosts (edible pen)

  5. Witches broom sticks using pretzel sticks and stringy cheese

  6. A slice of apple, peanut butter then mini marshmallows, then apple with peanut butter stuck on top to look like a mouth

  7. Rice Crispy cakes made green and decorated like Frankenstein

  8. Oreo spiders- using strawberry laces for the legs (great if you can present them on some candy floss)

  9. Popcorn is always a healthy option

  10. Using a scary Halloween cutter cut the shapes out of a wrap/ tortilla, oven bake and serve with guacamole or chunky salsa!

And If your looking for a healthy fun recipe to make then why not try these Mummy Hot Dogs, to be fair these are tasty served with a healthy side all year round!
