Mums Takeover

So as many of you know my main job is being a Personal Trainer, I train people (mostly mums or mums to be) 1-2-1 in a private studio. The PHBP is a way that I can help and support more mums to make small yet important changes to their lifestyle. I would love to train each and every one of the mums on a 1-2-1 level but there just aren’t enough hours in the day, especially with two boys (who are often a little bit of hard work).

I love training 1-2-1 I love being around people, making sure they are training effectively and safely, and giving them all the dietary advice I can, hints and tips and finding a way that works for them. BUT MOSTLY I love seeing people grow in confidence, look great and feel great!

I enjoy seeing some people grow to love food as oppose to feeling guilty for every mouthful, and for others, being able to control food better making every special occasion less of a disaster for the fat loss goal/ diet.

Me and my clients also talk...alot! We chat about the everyday life, the kids, the weekends, the partners, our lives, our hopes and our dreams (bit emotional but we do!) I believe that the great relationships I have with my clients helps them achieve and succeed.

With online coaching you don’t get this, although our community is full of recipes, workouts and blogs on living healthier lifestyles it is all advice, you don’t get the conversations about the kids being a nightmare or to talk about the stresses of work or just how much the football is doing your head in or what’s going down on love island!

With the PHBP I do try to achieve this personal level of communication; in the community through commenting on posts, through my social media channels (little bit addicted to insta stories) and at social sweat we have a great community but I'm forever thinking of ways to create this with my online clients and followers.

This is when the idea came to me, I wanted to hear from other mums, I wanted to give them a voice, let them share their experiences of being a mum and everything that comes with it.

SO.....I give to you #Mumstakeover

For the month of August I will be using my platform as a voice for mums to guest blog and tell thier own personal story. Some of these mums will make you laugh, others will no doubt make you cry but hopefully it will give you something to read that’s real and normal, something that we often miss out on when the little ones take over!

This is the perfect opportunity to grab a cup of tea and a healthy snack and just enjoy what these wonderful mums have to say! Remember you are not alone in this journey, everyone is making their own way through this challenging but magicall thing we call parenting!

Some of the blogs will help raise awareness to certain issues and some will give you some interesting mums to follow, but hopefully all of them will remind you how amazing being a mum is!
