FAQ's

IM A MUM BUT NOT RECENTLY GIVEN BIRTH, CAN I STILL JOIN?

Although the PHBP helps rehabilitate new mums who have recently given birth the Workouts, Dietary help, Community and Recipies are suitable for any mum who is looking for a healthy lifestyle plan that helps them fit it around their family. If that sounds like it will work for you then let's do it.

I'm pregnant, can I join the PHBP?

Yes, we now offer a prenatal package for you to stay fit and healthy throughout your pregnancy, please find more information on sign up.

When can I start?

If you have just given birth you will need to have been given the ok by your midwife in your post partum 8-10 week check before you can exercise.

If you are waiting for this we can still make a start by helping you with your diet and core rehabilitation, and help you prepare you for when you re able to exercise fully again.

Can I complete the PHBP programs while breastfeeding?

Yes, please note that as a breastfeeding woman has different dietary needs we cannot take responsibility, but simply guide a breastfeeding mother following the current government guidelines.

If required, we recommend visiting an Accredited Practicing Dietitian to help tailor a program specific to you and your baby’s needs.

For your own comfort you may want to feed/ express before a workout.

Although the PHBP is designed with mums in mind if you have any problems and find certain exercises uncomfortable then you just need to contact us for alternatives.

It is important to work at a pace that is right for you and your body, so just take it steady.

I have a health issue that may effect exercise can I still join the PHBP?

If you have health issues please contact us HERE so we can advise.

How often will I exercise and for how long?

The PHBP training sessions start from 10 minutes and last no more than around 1 hour. The plan is designed to work towards your personal goals and is fully flexible. For the Silver and Gold members we work on a schedule that works for them. Our Bronze members have access to the community where they can find a whole range of workouts and information which will help them to create their own personal plan which works with their schedule. Yes you need to commit to some exercise, but the advice and support we give helps to create a plan and schedule suitable for you.

What equipment will I need?

Dumbells, Spinlock are the best value. 25kg per dumbbell should be fine in 2.5 increments.
A chair / bench is needed for some workouts. Something like these HERE, HERE or HERE would be fine (Although you do not need the Barbell, these are good value for money).

Try checking out Local Selling sites for some good deals too.

For the HIIT workouts we recommend downloading a HIIT workout timer for ease.

How long will it take to achieve my goal?

This is all dependent on the level of commitment you give to the PHBP.

We will set an agreeable timescale for your goals during initial set up and will work towards this.

For the Bronze members we will advise you on how to go about setting your own goals and the content in the Community will help you get there.

ARE THE PHBP DIET PLANS SUITABLE FOR MY ALLERGIES?

The dietary help and The Recipe ideas are not formulated to suit any nutrient deficiencies, allergies or any other food related health problems. Please contact us prior to registering if you are unsure whether The PHBP is suitable for your dietary needs.

I'm a veggie/ vegan can I still join?

Here at the PHBP we offer flexible dieting so there are all kinds of recipes to try. If you can't find anything that suits your diet choices or needs there is plenty of information and guides on how you can incorporate other foods into a healthier diet. Most people eat the right things, just not in the way they should.

Why is this different to any other online package?

The PHBP helps rehabilitate the mother and works around their individual lifestyle and family. I am a mum myself and sympathetic to mums who just don't have time but really want to achieve their goal. I personally struggle and because of this I want to share with you how I make it work through the members community. Through our silver and gold packages I can also offer personal coaching to support you every step of the way.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?

We have a selection of packages available which include varying levels of personal coaching. You can see our plan options HERE.
